Weird sound from motor

So I hit the remote start on the clipse and started walking to it to get in to head back to school today and heard a weird noise. Sounds are hard to describe but it sounded metal-ish. It was a pretty constant noise at about the same volume level the whole time. It was coming from behind the passenger side of the header. Makes me nervos but what can I do...

Also noticed a LIGHT leak from the upper radiator hose were the hose clamp is. Tightened it, but don't know if it fixed it or not (had to leave to come back to school).

And on top of that, I just noticed a light miss at idle that is just barely noticeable every 5-10 secs or so. I think some injector cleaner may fix it though. I feel like its not related to the above.

I don't have an A/F gauge but I think I'm running a bit lean. Thats what my feel-o-meeter in my foot tells me anyways

Ideas? It's going to the mechanic's tomorrow and I'll let you guys know what they say. I keep getting more and more sketch about the mechanic my Dad swears by (long story, but ive had them replaced the cv axel on both sides and I still have a pop, not to mention a few other things friends have said).

Re: Weird sound from motor

Maybe just a valve tick maybe not. Possible something to do with antifreeze and such dripping and getting onto pulleys and tossing sound. You might also have a loose idler. Just a simple fluid check up and inspect the timing belt area. Shouldn't be too hard to track down the actual sound.

Good luck though.

That's always possible as well.

Re: Weird sound from motor

Thats what it was. Well, kinda...2 header bolts had worked their way loose somehow. Tightend and locked.

Thanks for the help.
