2001 Cartier Radio upgrade

Does anyone know if any of the later model OEM in dash CD players will fit in a 2001 cartier?

Wow, I was just reading some of the features in your operators manual..

You have adjustable pedals? My wife would love that one

Being that the radio control unit (RCU) and amplifier are dedicated to that specific head unit (HU)... I would guess, no.

In fact, Ford has been known to leave out pieces of the wire harnesses when optional equipment wasn't installed.... the CD Changer for example.. if it wasn't installed by the factory, the harness was left out too.

I was afraid that would be the case. I will explore other options. Thanks.
