Hoffman Estates, IL check in ya'll

Hey wassup import maniacs
recently i started going to the McDonalds parking lot every friday night near the corner of Barrington and Lake st. in Hoffman Estates, theres a looooooot of cars there. Anything from Supras to Evo's to BMW's to hondas, Mustangs and firebirds. Its pretty dope. If anyone here goes to those meetings shout out. For those of you who didn't know abt this, show up, altough the parking lot is not big enuff anymore

Last week one of my buddies with a VW Corrado G60 supercharged went to race some dude in a Red RX-7 '95 on the highway, i was there, me and about 10 cars followed them on the 290, they didnt actually get to race cuz the RX-7 fell back cuz of a red light, but after we were cruising on the highway for abt 2 mins all of a sudden the RX-7 Zooms past us with 160MPH, it was insane, we were going 90 and it seemed like we were going in reverse

sounds tight, me and my boys are always up at value city on the fridays and sat nights, but its been to damn cold, im waiting for spring to pop up.

yeah yeah i think there was a value city on the same plaza wehre the mcdonalds is
i was there last fri man, it was cold but htere were still around 50 cars, it was dopee

Damn Mellowboy you are right, dont you remember the good old days of last summer when it never got boring, everyone was up there cruizen around and having a grand ol' time, gettin ran out by the cops, checkin out all the rides, aaaah those were the days
Im hoping this summer will be even better.

Damn i have missed out completely on those "old times"
i was preoccupied with work and going to the beach last summer, this summer ill spend more time cruisin' and meeting with car fans

Nah it was last year that got me thinkin that it got boring haha. Even if theres alot of cars i'm not just gonna sit there. I'm not gonna go to any import shows anymore cause they are all the same man. It just the samething over and over haha

I guess its like a magazine, you pick one up with interest, and 2 hours and 3 magazines later you've had enuff of supras and altezzas and poioneer decks and rims and turbos and everything

yeah i think the meetings should have an actual purpose other than to sit there and talk abt whos got what, maybe race, or cruise from point A to point B so regular ordinary earthilings can see our cars hehe

heres a thought, how about for all you people 18 and over we have a meet at Route 66 in joliet and we can race at the test and tunes, that would give meaning to a meet, and it would be fun as hell, its 20 bux for all day as much as you want. ITs fun as hell.

Sounds like a good plan. It depends on the day though.

so tehre really is a place like that? its basically a public track right, but i heard u pay 30 bucks for 6 laps...
Hey im down for that, first i wanna get my rims with low profile tires and new shocks/spirngs tough

its starting to warm up sooo..... by the way, its just 3 of us talking here, if we get more ppl it would be more fun

yes there is such a heaven. it is in joliet, about an hour and a half away from hoffmann and shaumburg, its 20 dollars for a minimum of 3 laps, there is no maximum

yeah they start up the open races on April 5th and run once a week on tuesdays, there is one monday on the schedule. You have to be 18 otherwise mommy or daddy have to go to the track with you and sign some junk.
