Electric window problem
2000 LeSabre, Drivers window quit working. Is there a relay switch on the window motor. Working the window button on the door causes a clicking sound in the door, but the motor doesn't work. 331,000 miles so I'm not interested in spending a fortune to get the window working, but if I can find an easy fix it would be nice.

Re: Electric window problem
More than likely, you will need a new Window Regulator like the one shown below.

Re: Electric window problem
Most likely the regulator motor is at fault, but I believe the 2000 models were among those with a body control module and individual door power modules, so that is also a possibility. Either way, the inner door panels gets to come off and you get to meter the motor power to be certain which it is.

It has been back to the dealer so many times, it has its own service bay. It is so bad, GM even extended the warranty for me, but I am going trade it in before I beat it with a stick.
