2004 Quest power hatch problem

Can anyone tell how to reset the power hatch? It went into safe mode and I can not use any of the dash or remote buttons to activate it. I changed the struts and fixed the problem but now the dealer wants me to take it for a "service appointment" to make it work again. Thanks for any advice.

Re: 2004 Quest power hatch problem

I just got rid of my 04' Quest. I have all 4 of the factory service manuals for the 2004 that the techs use at the dealership. I bought them from Nissan Publications when I bought the van new. Paid $300, but I'll sell them to you for $75 plus S/H. 20lb box. Over 1500 pages of everything from schematics, diagrams, trouble code descriptions, and diagnostic flow charts on every component. Just using them once to fix this problem and it will be a wash for you compared to taking it to the dealer. After that, anything you fix on it will be money in the bank.

Let me know. I'm in Denver, Co

Mike
