ABS Sensor compatibility

Does anyone know if the ABS sensor from a 96 will fit a 2000?

Thanks.

Re: ABS Sensor compatibility

It might fit, but a quick check at rockauto yielded different part numbers for the different years whether Motorcraft or aftermarket so it probably would not work correctly due to differences in programming etc.

Re: ABS Sensor compatibility

Another thing that you could do is visit the Motorcraft website and look it up there.
They don't list all parts, but if they do.....you can look up what other vehicles that a given part is listed for.
