Cigarette lighter not working.

I know that GM is famous for poor receptacles, but I wanted to check the fuse first. The problem is that I can't find the right fuse. The owners manual doesn't list a fuse for it and the local Autozone doesn't have the repair manuals for this model. It is a 2004 GTP if anybody can help.

Re: Cigarette lighter not working.

There should be a diagram on the piece you pull out to get to the fuses. Not sure if it has it on there though.

Re: Cigarette lighter not working.

Not sure of your model, but in mine the cigarette lighter fuse (Which controls all the receptacles) is on the dash fuse panel thats located behind the little cubby on the right side of the glove box. Just grab it and rip it out (Surprisingly one of the few plastic pieces on a car that never breaks) and the diagram for the fuse panel will be on the side of the piece. I imagine its still the same for your year.

It's 10A default but I upped mine to a 30A
