Where is the heater actuator in a 98 Ford Windstar 3.8L? And how to replace it?
Does someone have the pictures of this actuator replacement?

Re: Electric Blend Door Actuator replacement
I have found this after browsing alot on the internet: http://www.blenddoorfix.netfirms.com/
It explains how to replace the actuator on a Ford Explorer. About the windstar, it's the same thing or it's different? On the Explorer, it says that the actuator is located at the passenger side glove compartment. Someone says in this forum that the actuator on the 2000 Windstar is located rear the radio. I have removed the radio, the ash tray, the center trim panel, the lower shroud below the ash tray, the dash instrument panel, but I was unable to locate the actuator. So maybe it's at the passenger side compartment. I will try this tomorrow.

Re: Electric Blend Door Actuator replacement
I have tried to remove the glove box, but I was unable. It doesn't have the release button at left.
The Windstar is different from the Explorer. Someone know how to remove the actuator here? It's urgent! I'm freezing in the North without the heater.

Finally, I discovered how to remove the glove box. It's useless, but it permits me to see where the actuator is located. It's located behind the climate control knob, below the radio.
So I'm able to access it from the climate control panel, even if it's very far. Thank to myself for the help.
