Parking lot dent

My venture was hit while I was in the parking lot of a supermarket. No note was left and the criminal was not caught on tape. I had to foot the bill for the repairs myself. Total damage was a busted taillight, and a dented drivers side rear quarter panel.

The taillight has been fixed but the quarter panel still has the dent. Is that an easy thing for a novice like myself to take off and put back on, or should I fork out the couple hundred bucks and have my local collission shop do it for me?
