Waiting for Car #3
OK, after much debate I pulled the trigger on car #3 from Hayes. Transporter picks it up today..... Kinda sad, I find myself re-reading previous post to think about what I want to do first. Who else has one of the WC cars? What shape were yours in? Does anyone have the specs for the 4.6 engines yet?

Re: Waiting for Car #3
If you are really looking to go fast, you can pony up for the Ford 5.0 "Cammer" engine they use in the Grand Am cars. I think it is the same block as the 4.6.
I run the 4.6 in my Mustang race car. It is medium fast, acceleration-wise. I'm about 3450 lbs with driver and would suspect you would be around 3050. I'd guess the WC cars would be a tick slower than a C5 Z06 on the straights. |
