i took off the bearing but there is no play and its still tight, i gonna exchange it anyways but is it the bearing or is it the drive shaft? or what woujld the driveshaft sound like if i were making turns? its a 91 voyager 14inch tires front wheel drive its the square style hub assembly |

Re: 91 Voyager Bearing Problem?
CV Joints will make a clicking sounding when turning, meaning cv joints are going out. Check this site for what they look like:

Re: 91 Voyager Bearing Problem?
ya i guess its the cv joint and i not gonna replace the section so ill replace the entire arm, so em i right that its the passanger side when i make right turns it crunches, here in canada at Canadain tire its 130 bucks but i think the wreckers in 50 bucks but i just hate doing it, cuz pain in ass to get lower control arm off the ball joint without damagaing the rubber boot

Re: 91 Voyager Bearing Problem?
well i went to wreckers and they said there was nothing wrong with drive axel what it is it probably the driver side bearing, as the drive axel didnt have a broken boat. said older vechiles u could tell what side bearing problem was but newer ones u cant so i guess its the driver side boot ugh all that work and never the right tools
