Coolant Flush
Does anyone have any tips on doing a coolant flush on my '99 3.8 L GP GT? I've look around the bottom of the radiator and can't seem to find a drain cock. If there is a specific procedure that anyone has, it would be a good post for the tips and maintenance section.
Thanks for your help. |

Re: Coolant Flush
the drain cock should be located on the bottom of the drivers side tank. It may be difficult to see with the fans and air cleaner in the way. It should go in horizontal facing the rear of the vehicle.

Re: Coolant Flush
its easier if you just take the lower radiator hose off
its really easy to break that stupid little plastic drain plug, so i dont even mess with it.

Re: Coolant Flush
Here's a link to some "how-to" videos by Prestone. One is for flushing the coolant system.
