Speaker Problem
I have an 95 grandam SE coupe with a quad 4. When i bought this car all the speakers were blown. i finally bought some new speakers for the front of my car. i installed both of them but when i re-hooked up the battery and the radio turned on only my right speaker worked. i tried rewiring the left one with new speaker wire and it still didn't work. i then returned those speakers and got another pair, and i have the same problem now. If you could help i would greatly appreciate it thanks.

Re: Speaker Problem
It could possibly be the deck, maybe something burnt out inside. Good luck.

Re: Speaker Problem
Is there any ways to check it or get it fixed without having to buy a new one?

Re: Speaker Problem
if you are using the stock radio and added new wire i'd say its the radio. the stock wires can break in the hinge area where it goes into the door. Plus stock wiring is all
. Probly not worth fixing, repairs would cost more then a newer deck. If you want to check the deck just hook up wires/speaker directly in back of the radio(in the dash).

Re: Speaker Problem
You can get a decent deck w/cd palyer for around $120. The repair cost imho would be around the price of a new deck.

Re: Speaker Problem
If you want another Delco, maybe you could try a local salvage yard. I got a Delco CD player in brand new condition for only $20.
