2001 tubo an interference engine?

Found a 2001 with a broken timing belt. I was wondering if the engine is trashed or not. Anyone know if it is an interference engine? Thanks

Yes guys indeed this is a big-time interference motor & will sometimes even break the valve guide bosses in the head depending on what RPM they self-destruct at. Can get very costly & ugly --
