Question another interior light question

Is the light inside the rear wiper switch (located on the dash below the fan speed switch) replacable? Haven't taken it apart yet, so I figured I'd check here before I attack it. tia

Re: another interior light question

Anything is replaceable- if you are good with a soldering iron and have experience with LEDs-- if you are asking- does it come as a separate part- then the answer is no- it is part of the switch assembly-- but if you tear it apart and go online or to Radio Shack- I'm sure you can do it-- but is it worth it? only you can answer that.....

Re: another interior light question

didn't know they were using LED's back in '99. I thought LED's didn't burn out? Am I mistaken? This is 2 now that I have blown.

Re: another interior light question

I had to replace the steering wheel controls for a woman who insisted on the lights working there- there was no there choice but to buy new switches- just to have the lights working again-- she paid the bucks- I put them in... and it was a '99 Olds Silhouette-- same vehicle....
