Lost keys for 1997 Town Car
My wife's grandfather died recently and we have been unable to find the keys to his 1997 Town Car that he left my son. His house is being sold and I need to move the car. How can I get another set of keys? Would a Lincoln dealer be able to make a new set?

Re: Lost keys for 1997 Town Car
I recently broke the only key I had for my 92 Town Car. I called the dealer to see if they could make me a new key from the VIN. They said not for a car as old as mine. If it were a newer car they can. So, your car may be new enough for that.
What I had to do was call the local Pop-A-Lock and they came out to my house and made me a set of new keys. I also had my ignition lock changed out because mine was worn out. Total was $150.00, but would have only been about $90 if all I needed was the keys. Hope this helps. |
