Hey guys, im new to this forum. I have a 1995 nissan micra wave 1.0l. I just recently noticed a wire coming out from the manual gearbox console. The other end of the wire is unconnected n is just lying free in the car. It says "Autoleads Datalink 1100" on the wire it self. Does anyone know what this wire could be used for and how if possible I could make use of it? Thanks very much!! quick response is highly appreciated! |

Re: Wire out of Gear box
If everything is working right, then it might be for an option you don't have. "data link" usually refers to the wiring connecting all the vehicles computers together. Since you have a manual it may be for an automatic. I wouldn't try "making use" of it. You may fry an ecm or more.
