Equinox rattle

My son just bought a 08 Equinox..... Has had it for three weeks... He came home tonight, and said the car makes a rattling noise upon acceleration..I know its not much info, but thats all I have.... A friend of his bought one the same week.. its been in the shop three times for the check engine light... something to do with a charcoal canister.... needless to say they both haven't made their first payments yet..

Sounds like a warranty issue. Have him take it back to the dealer.

Its strange when you accelerate form a dead stop its sounds like a cell phone in vibrate mode lying on a solid surface.. coming from the rear..
