Balancer chain and timing chain timing

I am working on a 2003 saab 9-3, 2.0 turbo
I am trying to locate a photo of the currect timing chain and balancer chain / gear timing
when i look in the manual it shows a balancer set up that is different than what i have, all my books show 2 balance gears, crank gear and a side gear,
The vehicle i have does not have the side gear. so there must be a early and late version. CAN ANYONE HELP ME ?
