97 Regency door key alarm disable
If my 97 Regency is locked with the remote, neither front door can be unlocked with the key and opened without setting off the alarm. My shop manual indicates that the door key should disable the alarm, but the diagram (page 8a-133-3) indicates that circuit 262 (key unlock input) applies only to Buick and Pontiac. Also, location E11 on the RFA module connector is blank (no wire).
Is the alarm supposed to be disabled some other way, or is this operation correct and the remote is always required? Thanks.
