-> Peugeot 206 WRC Total - Tamiya 1/24 M.Gronholm

Hi... It´s been a while since I "walk" this forum. I only registed today.
Guess I finally got the courage to post one of my Kits.

This kit is all out of box and no mods were made.
The pilots were included as well as the decals.

I made it some 5 or 6 years ago.

I know that it´s not as perfect as some of our members but It´s what I got

Hope you like it. It has many flaws, specially in the paint section.
Anyway, Comments are welcomed.

Once again, hope to hear you comments.
The kit was a lot of fun to build

Hi Nuno,

welcome here !

You 206 is really nice, don't doubt about your skills.
The only thing I would suggest according to the pics is to better sand the molding line (left rear) but your build is nice and clean, details are well painted, decals perfectly applied, and I can't see any special flaws on the paint...

So really a nice model, congratulations !

Re: Peugeot 206 WRC Total - Tamiya 1/24 M.Gronholm

Thank you.

I knew someone would mention those mold lines. You are right. I didn´t sand them because I though they were part of the rear fender!

Also, I didn´t primed the body... That was one of my fisrt car kits.

Anyway thanks for you support.

Really nice start, I noticed the front and rear tow hooks are missing, but otherwise a good looking build!

Looks good. I found the decals on this model to be tricky when I attempted it a few years ago but yours look really good.

Re: Peugeot 206 WRC Total - Tamiya 1/24 M.Gronholm

Thank you all for your kind comments. I aprecciate that.

to: mrawl , It´s wasn´t that hard to paint the pilots.. I had to improvise a bit. The problem is to sand them... They´re made of a diferent kinf of plastico. Beside that, just another paint job.

dlphfn, you won´t regret building it. It was one of my favorites. And it´s a good looking car too. And this is my favourite 206.

Let me know if you need any help or questions.
