2005 Ford Vic (Intercepter) ABS problem

I have a 2005 Crown Vic Intercepter that is showing a brake light as well as the ABS light.

Car stops good no noises new brakes ect. My computer will not read ABS systems.

Fluid is full and clean
Tried to bleed no air in system

Any Ideas please let me know. Also is there a way to clear the ABS system with out a computer like disconnection the battery?

Thanks in advanced Ray.

You will need to have the codes read with a scan tool that can read the ABS. If both lights are on, is the master cylinder to the proper level? Erasing the light will do nothing for you. If it stays on constantly, there is a hard fault in the system. If you can turn off the light, it will just come back. May as well get it repaired. You may want to pay to have the code diagnosed and post the EXACT code number back here.

Re: 2005 Ford Vic (Intercepter) ABS problem

Ok so I finally got time to check the codes and it says C1266 ABS Valve Power Relay.

I changed the modulal and the pump to only find out that the lights are still on that is Brake and ABS. The ABS is not working at all there is no pulsating in the pedal on slippery surfaces. All fuses are in working order.

The snap-on computer will not clear the code.

Any ideas???????
Thanks,
Ray

Did you check the wiring? Your code is for circuit failure. Here is the simple test for that code. Since you have replaced module and pump, wiring is alll that is left.
If there is no voltage, the code will not go away.
