5.4L Supercharged Transplant???

So I have a 260Z currently has an Olds 350 that does not run. I also happen to have a Ford 5.4L Supercharged Engine from an F150 Harley Davidson Edition. The truck is going to get repo'd and I was thinking that maybe I would just pull the Engine and tranny and ecu and put it in the Z. The engine only has 50k and runs like a bat out of hell.

My question:
How hard is it going to be to get the engine and tranny to do thier job (ie: Run) with the ecu? As far as mounting it up. I can handle all that it's just the question of actually making it fire.

Thoughts?

Re: 5.4L Supercharged Transplant???

transplant the ECU with all of the wiring and it won't be a problem.

the engine doesn't care where it is as long as it's got something to control it.
