07 - Seems slow on takeoff.

Hello All, just bought a leased Freestyle SEL with 15,800 miles.



I love the car so far, but seems to be slow when taking off. I'm comparing it to my 07 Cobalt (148 hp, auto) and the Colbalt will leave in the dirt. BUT, once you hit about 60, feels like a turbo kicks in!

Is it me, or the CVT or what? Any ideas?

So Far, love the way it rides! Nice firm yet smooth, not washy feeling like my Windstar (hated that van).

Okay, just an update. After driving it for a couple of days now, I realize what it is. That CVT! Since you don't feel the car shifting, you don't realize how quick you moving, it so smooth!

SO, back to no complaints, except arm rest on middle row seats would be nice.
