Re: cost of a radiator change?
One would need to know your local shop rate and the time it took/takes.
I dont know of anyone that has a book on flat rate. If someone does, please post it as I am courious of cost savings at times, as well as when I am doing something for someone and need to know how much to charge. |

Re: cost of a radiator change?
that's what i'm trying to find out...what the typical labor/hr is, and how many hours most places would say to do the job...(I know most places jack up the time for a job, esp a radiator, b/c it sounds so "big and serious" to most people...)
It took me about an hour, and I got the part on ebay for about $80, versus the $200-300 through autozone, etc...

Re: cost of a radiator change?
i think your best bet is to call a dealership and a mechanic...take the average of the two...
i forgot how much this one mechanic was going to charge my mom to change hers, but we ended up doing it ourselves
