I found this while searching for info regarding trans problems, there are too many links to even keep track of, I am also (of course) having trans problems with my 97 caravan, who isn't? Please follow this link, and register, hopefully some good will become of it. http://www.consumeraffairs.com/php/a_report.php

Not what you want to hear but, I haven't in 13 years and 197K miles except for a leak. I change the fluid anually using a pump. I drop the pan and change the filter every 3-4 years. Just as there are those who've had tranny problems for no good reason, there are many who haven't. That , unfortunately, applies to most minivans, not just Chrysler products.

No reason not to use the link if you're having tranny problems. Good idea. Might use it to get something going on the bad solder joints on the instrument cluster too. A headache for many. NHTSA.gov is another.
