ABS code atwc1265

Decided to do some more work on a ABS light issue from a while back.

Vehicle is a 95 jimmy, 2 door, 4x4, 4.3W, 4 wheel abs

My ABS light has been on for a while and a local shop told me it was showing code atwc1825 way back when. Can someone translate the code for me?

Also, what is the proper resistance measurement for the wheel sensors?

I tried searching the forum but couldn't find much on this.

Thanks!

Re: ABS code atwc1265

I have a '97 Service Manual, it may or may not apply, all help gratefully accepted......
I don't show that code, take it to a general repair shop and have it scanned.
The codes on my list will be C0021 thru C0088.

The wheel sensor resistance changes a little with temperature.

-40F to 40F 920 to 1440 ohms
41F to 110F 1125 to 1700 ohms
110F to 200F 1305 to 2000 ohms
201F to 302F 1530 to 2310 ohms

Re: ABS code atwc1265

Thanks for checking!
My Haynes manual lists ABS codes in the 0200's. Somethings seems amiss with the code they gave me. They list 0265 as a ECBM motor problem - not sure if that means anything

I check through all the sensors first and hope I get lucky. I hate to spend the bucks to have the code checked again.

Re: ABS code atwc1265

I am not sure if rules allow for this, but I just found this code list site online, might help a few people. odb-codes.com I am not affiliated in any way.

It lists my code as "left rear outlet valve soleniod malfunction" By the description, my guess is this is part of the main unit by the master cylinder, and is probably not serviceable. Can any one shed any more light on this item? I haven't messed with ABS units before.

Thanks
Dave

You need to get it rechecked for codes.
Add post back the right code no.
Code 265 is a abs relay problem on newer ones but is not a valid code for a 95.
When checking for abs codes always check when the light is on before turning off engine.
Abs codes will automatic clear when the ign is turned off.
