Convertible engine in a coupe??

I have a 1998 Sebring coupe and a friend has a totaled 1997 Sebring convertible. I was looking to take the motor out of the convertible and put it in my coupe because mine blew up. They say that the motors dont interchange. Does anyone know what is different?

A lot of times the interchange says things dont swap but its just something minor.
