Breathing mask???

I mostly use ratle cans when painting my models.
I'm aware that this is dangerous for my health and I would like to know what kind of breathing masks you use when painting?
And where do you buy them?!

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Ioan

Re: Breathing mask???

Even just a cotton mask or what you would see in a hospital would help.

But something such as a respirator w/ a particulate filter would be best, which could be purchased at any home center such as Lowes or Home Depot.

You really need a respirator, because the fumes are as, if not more dangerous than the particulates...

As Adam said, you can pick one up at a home improvement center. I got mine for ~US$25.

Re: Breathing mask???

I picked up a mask from a shop that sells automotive paints to auto body shops. It's a 3M and has filters and the whole nine yards. Also, I picked up some chemical resistant gloves for when I'm dealing with thinner while cleaning my airbrush!
Good luck
