Yamaha YZF-R1

Hi, heres one of my recent finished bike. Mostly OOB with light customization on the frame and blue led lights are added!

Re: Yamaha YZF-R1

I think it looks great, how you've managed to keep the details fot he bike and yet hide in it the circuitry for the lights. And with the lights on, just adds a whole new dimension to the model and really makes it look real! I'd love to do this with mine, what's your method/got any tips?

Excellent build, the paint is perfect, the shine is incredible, and the led lights add the extra touch to the bike! Congrats!

Hi thanks for the comment! Regarding your question, i choose bikes which offer enough room to insert batteries and wires, R1 and hayabusa are two examples. But for R1, you need to test fit with those flat 3V batteries, some modification needs to be done on the rear section of the frame as well as the piece that connect the rear number plate( refer to the first picture). In building the engine, i exclude the cylinders for easier wiring. Hope this can help you.. thanks

Re: Yamaha YZF-R1

I usually like bikes but never build them but after seing yours with the headlights, One day I will break down and build me a bike w/headlights. The second picture is just awsome. Nice work.
