97 S-10 Will not crank
A Little background information first. This similar non cranking problem happened 5 years ago. At that time I replaced the ignition swith (not tumbler) this fixed the problem. But I believe my dash lights were not working when the intermittent non cranking problem was in effect.
Now Blazer wont crank but all lights work, including idiot lights etc. I can hear fuel pump, good battery voltage, bright headlights. I do hear click when turning ignition to start. Problem has been intermittent. Usually I can giggle key/steering wheel or put it in neutral and let it roll while turning wheel and she fires. Not this morning. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks and have a great weekend Possible relay? Where and how test Possible connection problem? Where to start? |

Movin key and steering wheel helps points to wiring or connection or back to the ign switch problem. You need to catch it when no start and check voltage to and from ign switch, Also check for no spark or low or no fuel pressure when no start. MT
