Re: What 2 do

For $500 - don't bother with a suspension your lacking around 2-300 bucks for a good range setup.

Go full exhaust, and lighten anything that rotates.

Re: What 2 do

Lowering on stock sturts/shocks is not only completely stupid but dangerous. A set of KYB AGX's are only around $350-$400 and then you can get a decent set of used springs all the time.

as far as exhaust get something custom, usually cheaper to do so. get a header, high flow cat, a good res and a decent highflow muffler (there are alot of choices) if you are looking for speed out of a 2200 it is pretty much turbo or nitrous. everything else on that motor will get you exactly no where

Re: What 2 do

do a little research on just how shitty gm stock struts are and you will understand. They are not made for any type of drop..or hell any type of abuse really.

I blew out the strut mounts, and my cv shafts being dropped on lower springs and stock struts. Give it time before before shit starts breaking.

you'll be back to square one within no time. Those will blow out too. They are not internally valved right to handle the progressive spring rate that comes with the Eibach springs. Save the $200 you would have spent on those and wait a little while longer and get the right parts to do the job. The AGX's have come down in price since i bought mine. I got mine for $120 a piece. But since your in the sportlines, look into the tokico D-specs. AGX's can only handle 1.5" drop. ( eibach prokit, H&R, tein H-spec springs)

Re: What 2 do

do NOT drop any amount to stock struts....if you don't have enough money just wait and save and buy them.....you will end up saving money in the long run. why buy new stock replacement struts that are going to blow....just a complete waste of money
