Just got off the maxima.org forum and read a thread where someone asked why is everyone abandoning their maxima.
So my question is:
Has anyone here thought about or are going to sell their max?

I personally wouldn't sell it. I love the car, it was given to me by my dad and I have had no complaints. I did want another car but when I drove this car for the first time I was surprised by the power it had and never looked back. So far every friend of mine that has seen the car says it looks awesome.

Why would you buy the maxima if you thought it was going to be a fast car? It's a 4 door sedan that can go really freaking fast but it isn't supposed to be a sports car.
If you don't like the max get rid of it, you don't deserve the car. It's supposed to get you from point A to point B. If all you think about is racing the thing and then complain that it's screwing up on you a lot and it's a POS then buy something else then, don't complain about it.
I'm actually really thankful that my father got me this, it's not slow but it ain't speedy gonzalez either(but it is fast nontheless), if i were to have a really fast car I would have killed myself by now.

But that is my opinion, flame me if you want but I have a right to say whatever the hell I want.

ive been thinking bout sellin my max to get a truck. i like my max and would like to have both, but i can do more with a truck tho too. be an easy way to make money jus haulin shit off for people

I have no beef with that.
it's just some people complain about how their max's are really slow and that they can only get like 15 at the track.

dude it's not supposed to be racing in the first place but if you want to it will get you a respectable time.(15 is respectable in my opinion).
but if all you want is to race it
you have the wrong car.

let me tell you for a car with 4 doors its pretty impressive. if you want fast and true sports car feeling--- keep the maxima for cruising and pleasure and then buy another vehicle for speed and adrenaline rush. you want someting in the 13 sec or faster buy a corvette z06 12 sec car from factory now you are talking:frog: :flash:

Im doing the reverse of topic... Getting another 4th gen Maxima in July. Since my max has auto tranny it will go to my mom, and Im getting myself 5-speedo manual Trying to get the car in RED color (not maroon) I know that maxima in red is really rare but the paint comes stock. They didnt make alot of them in red, so I will have to pay dealer to find some for me. If they wont find any I'll go for black (would go for same as my current maximas color-forest green) but me and my mom will confuse which one is which. So 99SE maxima IM COMING FOR YOUR ASS!!!:frog:

P.S. If you want a really nice sports car, get a Ford Mustang SVT Cobra. That shit is almost as fast as Vette Z06 and its only around 45k bucks. SVT will own 99.999999999999% of street racers with its stock HARDCORE setup.
