Power windows wont work and security light on.

Hello, I have a 2005 impala with a problem. I was driving it the other day and all of a sudden it chimed like it does when you first start it at the same time the dash reset itself and it went through the different check lights, but the security light stayed on. Now the power windows won't work. Since I got the car, the dash cluster has quite working except for the fuel gage and once in a while it starts funny, like it sticks, but it doesn't grind the starter. Could anyone give me any ideas before I spend a fortune at the dealership? Thanks.
