Re: AC/Vent Help

Do you hear any hissing in the dash ?

Sounds like the something broke... could be the vacum actualtor for the defrost.
You'll need to inspect that area see here.

Or the head unit could be bad, could be the blend door stuck/broken.

Good Hunting !

Re: AC/Vent Help

The mode doors (defrost, vent, floor, mixes) are vacuum operated. If there is a vacuum leak, you may hear a hiss where it's leaking, if it's inside the car.

Something is probably either stuck or the head unit is bad. With no vacuum to anything, the actuators default to defrost. Check for vacuum to the actuators. If anything other than the desired position is being commanded, it's a bad head unit. Also disconnect the actuators and move the doors by hand to make sure they aren't binding.
