kicker cvr comp....

i have a 99 explorer an im building a fiberglass excloser that is going to house 9 kicker cvr comp 12's an im wondering if any one has ever bought or fabricated a ground housing that houses around 9 -10 double ought grounds
thanx any advice aprecated !!!

most people just take a strip of copper, drill and tap holes in it, and mount the ring terminals (on the end of the wires) by screwing them in.

more importantly, why are you going to put NINE 12s in your explorer
i had 2 regular 12" comps and a kx400.1 in my explorer along with kicker components
just do 2, man. use the money you save on 2 sets of component speakers and maybe a 4 channel or dynamat

haha unfornt. 2 isnt going to cut it this is a show truck for my shop an were goin for something thats on a differnet level than everyone else so were in the middle of building the fiberglass exclosure ive just never had to mess with wires of this magnitude an was just seeing if any one possibly has an if so what they did to keep the wires lookn neat im all about a clean install!!!

they lay the wires next to each other and run them down the side of the transmission tunnel. 9 12" subs will be an unusual load, you might think more on the lines of 4 15's or 2 18's.

yeah thats why i am runing an amp to every 2 subs im using the memphis d 1000 series amps an i already have my product so kinda hard to swich it up now haha but ill post some pics of the progression ...

you won't be able to put 1 amp per 2 subs when you have an odd number of subs .........
