Autocross pics from 3com park (4.7 MB) 56k beware.(pics of REAL r32 skyline in here!)

Anyways, I had a great time, EF_LSVtec's car is FAST. Its a shame he only got one run in though, there was something up with his distributor. Well, on with the pics

Woke up a little late, but im making pretty good time

Mobbin over the bay bridge

Chillin at the prerace meeting

Old alfa romeo guliet ... figured my dad would enjoy these pics

Irvins car, ready to go

We then went on the run and I was pinned back in my seat the entire time ... irvin said "he was just taking it easy" but for taking it easy, he had the FASTEST time for a while (57 sec run), plus I was pinned back in my seat the whole time also

His car after the run

Hey look. Its the only civic in the lot at stock height and with a bike on the roof that exceeds the value of the car (I went riding at china camp state park on the way back)

After irvins car broke down, he ran this car for the rest of his runs

There comes the guliet

Various cars coming around

Old saab convertible ... ran decent times

Stock height GSR 4 door ... ran great times

And there comes an ITR in all its glory

Here comes irvin

MR2

Reppin AE86 style

S4 ... the beauty of AWD ... had NO body roll either

Ok, so I know I was raggin on this M3 last time cause he was going hella slow ... and now I know why everyone at HT hates me now. That M3 is one of the fastest cars in the SF reigon. He ran a 49 something and I dunno if that time was beaten later. The driver of the thing is also AWESOME. Right at the finish line the ass end started to come around, he overcorrected and it started swinging the other way, and then got it straight ALL WITHOUT HITTING A SINGLE CONE.

6th gen hatch ... these guys next to me were wondering if it was swapped and I was almost laughing, cause the sound of the DOHC VTEC kicking in was unmistakeable

Im suprised the front lip on this thing never hit the ground

Finally the pics youve all been waiting for ... the skyline

And back to pics of people hittin the corner

Here comes the guliet

Some misc pics of dope rides in the parking lot

Its that stock height civic with the bike on the roof again ... I wonder who that dumbass thinks he is bringing a bike to an autocross ... that thing is sure to mess up his aerodynamics

This guy was puttin the AWD to the test quite a few times

z3

That guliet again

Irvin again

Rollin ... mini cooper style

I think he should have repaired his fender before he got a c/f hood and projectors (although that could have happened after)

Pretty clean g2 teg

Its running aight now

Some sweet bikes, you can see irvin in the right of this pic (blue shirt)

This thing is tiny ... oh and theres irvin again

Few more pics of irvins car ... new exhaust

Powdercoated GSR rims with falken alzenis

Rollin fully gutted

Hope you guys enjoyed the pics.

Thanks for posting pics Melt, I couldnt have done a better job. Good news, my friend Arnold tinkered with my dizzy and found the problem. Connectors werent getting good contact and causing it to heat up and f*&ck up the sensors. After he cleaned it up and taped the wires, car ran smoothly and I got home safe and sound...BTW, my time was a 56.038...good enough for first place on SM-novice class...Not bad for a 1 run race.

BTW, I'm not allowed to completely gut my car racing on "street modified" class, I simply took off the rear seats thats all.

Yeah, unfortunately I'm only allowed to lose the rear seats. I wouldnt want to gut my car completely anyway...Maybe next year, I'm thinking of gutting it entirely, putting cromoly roll bars and sell my jdm interior (front and rear seats).

2nd) I like the Hachi Roku! Initial D Rules!

3rd) I WANT THAT SKYLINE!!! I love the r32 the best for some reason, it just looks so much better than the 33 and the 34, even though they both have a lot more power....
