What is required for a front end lift?q

2004 Silverado 1500.
You know these trucks are lower at the front than they are at the rear? What is required to lift the front end up to more or less match the rear height?

2wd or 4wd.... there is a difference... 2wd you can get longer spindles, if its 4wd, you can normally just crank the torsion bars to get it level... If you cant crank that much you need to get Ford (higher indexed) torsion bar keys. Trouble with cranking the bars you need an alignment afterwards and it will ride slighty rougher. fairly easy to do and with stock tires you can fit a 33" tire easily on stock wheels

2WD... Sorry, I should have mentioned that!

Longer spindles... sounds expensive!

Longer spindles will give you more than you are looking for (height wise). You could go with the Daystar coil spring spacers.. heres a link http://www.suspensionconnection.com/.../KG09101L.html

Thanks for the info!

Yeah, I'm only really interested in balancing the look from the side... you know, levelling the front up with the rear - if it doesn't cause handling issues.

These coil spacers look to be the ideal thing. Installation looks to be a major pain in the nether regions though!

Easiest way is to go down to your local Ford dealership and get their TB keys. You can order them from a ton of places on the "interweb" (sorry 30 Rock joke). Depending on how much you crank, you will need an alignment and maybe a little bit longer shock to get back some of the soft ride.
