98 ex starting problems
ok, here is the situation. i have a 98 civic ex... the other night, the battery went completely dead, nothing would work... i connected the charger and it started right up, and i drove it 10 miles. next day wont start again... i buy a new battery, put it in, and it starts right up, twice... an hour later it doesnt start. the radio, lights, powerwindows/doors everything works but wont turn over, i hook up the charger, it starts right up... this does not make any sense to me, please help!!!!!

hello first have you checked the charging system??all the acc. radio lights etc. take very little voltage to work.i'd make sure its charging & u dont have a draw in system

i did not think it would be the charging system because i was able to drive it for a good period of time after i started it, and i thought if it was the charging system, the car would shut down once the battery was drained of its power.

a full charged battery can run the car for awhile all depends on how many accessories you run.i would still have alt. checked
