washer fluid
I have a 2000 Pontiac Montana and am wondering if anyone knows how much washer fluid this vehicle typically holds. I put a gallon in about two weeks ago and it is already empty. A few years ago we had a 2000 Venture and it seems to me it wouldn't hold much and you seemed to go through alot.

Re: washer fluid
I believe it's close to a gallon. Somewheres in between 2/3 and 3/4. One would think if they went that far to make that size, they would make it a little bit bigger, enough to use the whole gallon, and not have a small amount kicking around in the bottle. Did you have weather which forced you to use a lot of washer fluid to clean your windshield? Also take into consideration your rear window also is serviced by the washer fluid reservoir in the engine compartment. If not there might be a leak somewhere.

Re: washer fluid
Well, this is my wife's van. I drive the truck that you've replied to other posts about. She claims she didn't use the washer that much since I refilled it. Perhaps it's leaking, but I think she is susceptible to holding down the washer button on the rear and that thing spews like 5 gallons a minute right onto the road.
