How to locate and install new TCC solenoid? Quick tips?

1993 Chevy Lumina Euro 3.1L Auto 4 speed trans.

The tranny was slipping and the car would stall at stoplights. I replaced the fluid, filter, and gasket and the slippage stopped. The car would still stall at stoplights. I noticed a tranny fluid leak so I took the pan back off. The car is on blocks. Do I need to replace the TCC solenoid before I put the pan back on? If so, where is it? Thanks in advance.

If the 4 spd is same as the 3 spd, its behind the pan on the side/end of the transmission, not in the bottom pan at all.
But as i just saw on a website, some may be in bottom pan? site wasnt stating what GM tranny they were working on.
