Re: Fuel Pump Problem?

I just had the exact same problem on my '00 gtp. I'm pretty sure its a fuel pump, I'm having the car looked at today. Few years ago, the fuel pump resistor went bad on me. Symptoms were similar, but you could actually get the car down the street if need be, if you were easy on the pedal. You could check the fuse to the fuel pump in the fuse box located next to the auxillary battery terminal.

To make matters worse for me, the cops towed my car within an hour of me leaving it, impounded the car, then charged me with 'parking on the freeway'. By the time I paid for all the towing, it cost me $220 to get it to the shop.

Re: Fuel Pump Problem?

Guess I was wrong, problem was traced back to the fuel pump resistor.
