sleepr vs ricer vigilante

so I'm coming home from BK after grabbing some food not realizing the likeness of Castro is on the side of the bag and I pull up to the stoplight where my last few kills occurred. Remember one lane ends so someone is always trying to beat someone else. This time it was a newer model olds aurora with some bitchin' 16" chrome wheels.
I'm sitting at the light watching my voltage because my alternator is going and I'm not messing with it until I have good weather to mess with. I kept the voltage up by keeping the idle high and this guy thought I was going for it. I wish I had known he was going for it so he could have felt the wrath of awe launches. Nevertheless we get across the intersection at the same time and I hear him wind it out. So I started in second gear and took it 15 to 55 or so before I saw him 2 cars back. I let off and watch him do the usual ricer flyby and I duck in behind him. Couldn't tell if he was pissed or if maybe he thought he had won. He ducked into a parking lot by the next stoplight and I went on home. He definitely thought he was going to put some ricer in his place.

I would have loved to seen that smirk wiped off his face when he only saw my taillights and my car allergic to the warm winter air.

Man, I bet you god some people up there wondering what the hell is going on with your car. Good kill. I love the sleeperish look with the Speed3. Someone thinks they are just rolling up on some riced out Mazda3 hatch...

and i bet those peeps in texas have noo clue. i still got a boost leak though, and it'll only do 10 lbs without hitting fuel cut.

Pretty much, lol. I had someone with an exhaust only RSX-S come up to me once, thinking that I stole the badge from my car of a Protege and dropped it on CX7 wheels, lol. I really wanted to run him, but once I popped the hood and showed him that little hamster wheel hanging off the back of my engine, he was like...uh, no, thats ok.

I thought you had an VR4 not an SRT4? (OH SNAP!)

I feel your pain on fuel cut though.

edit: nvm, i clicked on your profile and it says -1990 galant

Re: sleepr vs ricer vigilante

bwahaha, you don't even know... plane jane 90 Galant with a stock motor, filter and exhaust

still got the eclipse though, it jsut sits and looks pretty most of the time.

and did i mention that the snow fricking ROCKS?

i don't know what this thing runs right now, some days it won't run 8lbs and some days it'll run 14lbs to redline. mind you i haven't reset the MBC at all its sitting like it always does under the hood unmolested set to what i thought was 11lbs!!! i hate fuel cut. this ricer vigilante i killed running 9lbs or so. 13lbs is a much larger difference which is what it has been doing since the temperatures dropped which makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever since denser air should be making it read more airflow and causing fuel cut at a lower set boost, but alas there must be a strange boost leak somewhere.

Re: sleepr vs ricer vigilante

was that with the green galant or this one? i think i'd still kick ass in the green one considering the turbo will run 35lbs without hesitation. this one? not so much. i won't even have a chance to get you off the line in this one and if i do, well... it's going to be rough relinquishing the lead after first gear.

and uhh, we may have to turn your boost down to run as well, i don't like being over powered, over boosted, and under weighed even if you are WRONG wheel drive and in a wagon.
