Re: 01 sporttrack p1633 code????

Welcome to the forum!

Do you mean the check engine light (CEL) comes on as soon as you start it and the P1633 code is present, or do you mean if you perform a scan there are no codes, but as soon as you start it, the CEL comes on and the scan tool displays a code P1633?

The reason I ask is the code should be stored if it's setting a CEL. If for some reason the PCM is dropping the code when the engine shuts off, that is odd.

This code is related to an issue with the Keep Alive Power, so you'll want to check the condition of the battery cables, making sure they are clean and tight. Also consider the age of the battery and if it's possibly due for replacement. Check the PCM power fuse to make sure it's in good shape and making a good connection. Make sure the connection to the PCM is clean and secure as well.
