strange leak

I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out a leak. What appears to be the consistancy of oil (its slimmy) on my drive way underneath a newly purchased 1997 sebring convertible jx. I say slimmy because it is a white colored mass of gunk. I didn't even notice the color until it rained yesterday.
weird huh. i swipped my shoe through it and it was very slimmy. does anyone think the guy that ripped me off, put some kind of additive somewhere? Also, i smell what seems to be oil burning, when the car is shut off after it is hot. any ideas thanks
