2007 Cobalt Remote Start Issues

I have a 2007 Cobalt with a remote car start issue. The start worked fine for the first 5 months but now is not working. The car went into the dealership and they said it was due to a hood latch problem. They said they adjusted the hood latch and it that fixed the problem.

2 days later it stopped working again. When I press the "Lock" then the remote car start, the car does nothing. But by the time the dealership gets to it in the morning, it works again and they said there is nothing they can do becuase it is working now.

Does anyone know or had this problem? Besides all the doors having to be locked, what else is the computer looking for to allow the remote car starter to work?
