Welcome to AF.
Are you getting power and ground to the seat motor?

Re: 96 jimmy

Check switch for power on orange wire power feed wire from circuit breaker A in IP fuse box to power seat switch.
May have to have key on.
For ground black wire check for good ground wire on rear of right cylinder head.
The front to back motor reverses power and ground on light green and tan wires to move seat backwards or forward.

Re: 96 jimmy

If it is leaking gas take it back to the mechanic.
And also ask him to test/check the fuel gauge.

Where is it leaking?

Was the complete fuel pump module replaced?

Was the gas gauge working before the pump quit.?
How much fuel did you add after pump was replaced?

Re: 96 jimmy

You are welcome and thanks for letting us know how it went.
If it is not right always take it back.
And give them a chance to fix it right.
Most good repair places stand behind ther work and want to know if anything is wrong with what they did and will work with you on getting it right.
Sounds like he done on taking care of the problem.
Good luck
