95 town car no start

Hey guys, having little trouble with the old town car. I was messing with my car a little bit beacuse i have to amps in my tc and one wasn;t working. so i was starting the car often while working on the cars and then all of a sudden when i go to start it it just clicks one time and nothing else. doesnt even try to turn over. I used a jump box and the car started. I took the battery out the car and charged it with a charger and put it back it in but still same thing. So i then purchased a new battery and same thing. Is it the starter fried from starting so many times in a short time or what?? Any ideas be greatly appreciated.

I would begin this one by removing the wires / cables at the starter, inspecting / cleaning the ends, and re-attaching them securely.

This won't be the first time, nor the last for this exact same problem
