2001 LeSabre License Plate Bulbs
After searching I found a couple of posts that were three years old and I'm hoping that someone out there has had to change a license plate bulb on a 2000, 2001, or 2002 Lasabre. I've tried prying the lense, removing portions of the tail light assembly, removing the license plate; I can't for the life of me figure it out. Does anyone know the secret?

Re: 2001 LeSabre License Plate Bulbs
I just replaced my 2001 Lesabre license bulbs last week. It requires you to remove the entire tailight assy., which can be done by opening the trunk and removing the seven 10mm nuts with a deep well socket. You do not need to remove the two nuts for the trunk lock. The complete light assy. just prys off the trunk and exposes the light sockets. I believe I used 194 lights as replacements.

Re: 2001 LeSabre License Plate Bulbs
Just did my 1999 last night. I didnt think to take off the whole tail lights, but made a tool to fish in the holes in the inside of the trunk, and remove the bulb socket. They could have put a hole right behind the socket and it would be simple, huh!
