1995 windstar fan problems

1995 ford windstar the radiator fan stopped working is there a fuse to check or a sensor?

There a couple of things. First, can you get them to come on with the ac or defrost? I think that the fans are turned on with them even if the radiator is not hot. I believe there to be two fuses, 30a and 10a, in the engine compartment fuse block. There is a cooling fan dropping resistor that can go bad. A thorough check of the wiring, connectors, and ground would be a good idea too. Next to the thermostat is a temperature sending unit called an ECT. It can be tested for resistance for different temperatures. 65F is 40,500 ohms, 180 to 220F is 3,800 to 1,840 ohms. If I understand the book correctly, when you disconnect the wiring to the sensor to test its resistance, you can also test for voltage across the two wires with key on(engine on?) to be 5 volts approx. If the fan still doesn't come on, then I believe the ccrm, constant control relay module, may be the last to blame.

YES, the radiator fans should come ON at LOW speed when the A/C is on (including defrost setting) and the vehicle is not moving at a minimum speed...regardless of engine temperature.....(note....if it is too cold outside for the A/C to be running........the fans may NOT come on)

I have pictures that show the location of the CCRM (Constant Control Relay Module), which contains the relays for the radiator fans High and Low speeds, the low speed dropping resistor (kind of behind the passenger side headlight), and a number of other things.
These things will be identical (location and replacement process) on your '95
